General Butler State Resort Park - Hilltop Resort Near Cincinnati
General Butler State Resort Park features a centralized location with nature. The Butler-Turpin Historic home, built in 1859, is preserved within the park. The state-of-the-art conference center accommodates groups from 14 to over 700. Dining includes àlacarte breakfast served each morning. Leisure activities include a boat dock open weekends and holidays for canoe, kayak, and pedal boat rentals. Guests can access picnic areas, a playground, tennis and basketball courts. Playgrounds are located at the front and west entrances. The campground offers over 100 campsites with utility hookups and grills. The park is 80 km from Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International. Hiking access is available at many points throughout the park, including a 1-mile section incorporated into the Park to Park project for hikers and bikers. A 25-mile trail connects Butler-Turpin State Historic House to the Fossil Trail.
